Meet Zeph Mitchell

I started HOPLÀ Digital with one clear mission: to bring the clarity and systems of big business to small business owners.

For more than 15 years, I worked with some of Australia’s largest organisations, including a Big Four bank, a leading insurer, federal government departments, and major sporting bodies. Along the way, I earned postgraduate degrees in Business and IT. It helped me see how strategy and systems work hand in hand.

Over time, I began to notice a problem. Big companies had the tools to grow smoothly and predictably. Small businesses were running on effort alone. They were skilled, hardworking, and dedicated, but they were stuck juggling everything at once.

That became clear when a friend asked me for help with his service business. He was great at what he did, but his website and customer records weren’t connected, so nothing worked smoothly. He was burning energy instead of building momentum.

That experience changed my focus. I realised the systems that make big companies thrive could have an even bigger impact in small business if someone made them simple and accessible.

That is what I set out to do.

Marketing is not just ads or social media. It is every part of how your business runs, from the first call to the final thank you. It’s also about staying connected, building trust, and creating the kind of reputation that keeps customers coming back.
